The 2024 Toyota Tacoma offers two cab styles. The SR, SR5, and TRD PreRunner trims have a two-door cab called the Xtracab as standard. This cab provides seating for a driver and passenger and a cargo area behind the seats. This area includes a reinforced MOLLE storage panel for better weight-carrying capacity. The front seat of the Xtracab also offers a near-flat folding capability to double up as a work surface.
Meanwhile, the TRD Sport, TRD Off-Road, and Limited are only available as a four-door Double Cab. The Double Cab offers spacious and comfortable seating for up to five occupants. This cab can also be optioned for the three lower trims.

The Xtracab and Double Cab include a hidden storage pocket within the driver’s side of the dashboard. Moreover, buyers get front USB charging ports, 12-volt power outlets, and larger cup holders.
The TRD Pro trim comes with special seats, called the IsoDynamic seats, for front-seat occupants. Toyota has engineered these seats to provide enhanced comfort and support when off-roading at high speeds. The seats use an air-over-oil shock absorber system within their structure. Hence, they cushion and reduce unwanted forces on the human body, such as when taking jumps. The user can adjust damping levels or switch off the system.
The 2024 Toyota Tacoma has been fully redesigned for a distinctive and purposeful appearance. All trims include Toyota’s hexagonal front grille, flanked by LED headlamps with automatic high beams on higher trims. The TRD trims gain flared fenders, extra lighting, and a distinctive front grille design.
